Biography
John Carl received his B.S. in Biology in 1978 from Case Western Reserve University. He attended Long Island University in 1979 where he was awarded his M.S. in Physiology. At George Washington University John Carl became an M.D. in 1985. He did his residency in general pediatrics at Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital until 1988 when he underwent his fellowship in pediatric pulmonary medicine in 1992. Dr Carl then became an instructor in the Pediatrics Department. Appointed an Assistant Professor in 1994 Dr Carl became Directory of the Pulmonary Technology Center and also Director of the Pediatric Bronchoscopy Service at Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital. In 2003 Dr Carl became an Associate Professor.
